FLORIDA, USA: Pakistan cricketers Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir have decided to retire from international cricket again following their underwhelming performance in the ongoing T20 World Cup.
Reports indicate that Amir and Wasim will announce their retirement after playing their final match for Pakistan against Ireland in Florida on Sunday. Both players had come out of retirement to participate in the T20 World Cup but failed to deliver performances that could have contributed to the team’s success.
It is confirmed that formal retirement announcements will be made soon by both cricketers, after which they will continue their careers solely in league cricket.
