COLOMBO: People especially social media users lauded Pakistan’s batsman Fakhar Zaman as the player helped ground officials and staff put on covers as the rain interrupted the Asia cup game between Pakistan and India being played in Colombo cricket ground on Sunday.
The match between Pakistan and India was interrupted in the 25th over because of heavy rain, saw the ground staff rushed to place the covers on the pitch.
A video, which has since gone viral on different social media platform, shows Fakhar lending a helping hand to the staff in covering the ground. This gesture has garnered admiration from social media users.
