ISLAMABAD: Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, has categorically denied recent media reports suggesting his impending marriage. The captain’s manager took to social media to address the circulating news, asserting that the claims of Babar Azam’s marriage in November are entirely unfounded.

In a statement shared on social media, Babar Azam’s manager appealed to the public, urging them not to share unverified information. The cricket star himself further reinforced the message by retweeting his manager’s post on his official Twitter account.

Additionally, Safir Azam, the younger brother of Babar Azam, also refuted the news of the national captain’s marriage.

Rumours About Babar Azam’s Marriage

Earlier reports had indicated that Babar Azam was preparing for marriage, potentially following this year’s ICC World Cup in India. A close friend of Babar Azam had corroborated the rumour, confirming that the cricketer’s family had considered a November wedding after the prominent Cricket World Cup 2023.

Sources suggested that the cricketer’s family envisioned the wedding occurring after the World Cup and before the team embarks on their tour to Australia. However, Babar Azam’s manager’s recent statement serves as a clear denial of these marriage claims, dispelling any speculation of an upcoming wedding.
