Covid-19 Claims 1 More Life in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: As many as 40 new cases of Covid -19 have been reported during the last 24 hours in Pakistan whereas the deadly virus claimed 1 more life on Thursday.

According to the National Health Institute (NIH), 29 patients are in critical condition in various hospitals in the country and the positivity ratio of coronavirus is 0.59 percent. A total of 6828 tests have been conducted within 24 hours to detect the deadly virus nationwide.

Details show that Lahore has reported the highest positivity ratio at 1.61 percent and 4 cases reported positive for the virus whereas, 248 tests were conducted to detect the virus. A rise in positive cases in Islamabad has also been monitored as 4 new cases of the virus were reported during the last 24 hours. Peshawar reported 7 cases, Rawalpindi 2 and Faisalabad 1.
