Trade and Investment Opportunities in Pakistan

In pursuit of expanding trade and investment opportunities, Bilawal held meetings with representatives from the Japan International Development Agency (JICA) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). These discussions focused on exploring the potential for mutually beneficial trade and investment collaborations.

On the topic of geopolitics, Bilawal urged major powers to avoid making the war on terrorism controversial and a victim of their geopolitical interests. Addressing the National Assembly, he emphasized the importance of collective efforts in combating terrorism and called on the international community to take the menace seriously. Bilawal regretted that the world’s attention had shifted away from terrorism towards the conflict in Ukraine. He highlighted Pakistan’s significant sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and emphasized the country’s commitment to curbing extremism for the sake of peace, stability, and prosperity.

Regarding the trials of civilians in military courts, Bilawal stated that those involved in attacking military installations and memorials of martyrs should not be granted leniency.
