ISLAMABAD: The second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has commenced with support from the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
Pakistan and China are set to collaborate on five new economic corridors: Innovation Corridor, Livelihood Corridor, Green Energy Corridor, Regional Development Corridor, and Employment Creation Corridor.
Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal provided details on these initiatives, noting that they are integral to CPEC Phase II.
He highlighted that these corridors align with Pakistan’s ‘5Es framework’ and reflect the continued commitment of both nations to enhancing their economic partnership.
