ISLAMABAD: Pakistan took a giant leap towards digital transformation of its workforce ecosystem on Tuesday as the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to create the country’s first national verified digital talent repository.

The strategic partnership will integrate HEC’s degree verification system with PSEB’s upcoming national digital workforce platform, establishing a unified, data-driven ecosystem that promises to revolutionise how Pakistani graduates and IT professionals connect with employers both at home and abroad.
Authenticated digital profiles to transform recruitment
The integration will enable seamless digital verification of academic credentials, allowing students and professionals to present authenticated digital profiles to potential employers.

“By establishing Pakistan’s first verified digital talent repository, we are creating a trusted bridge between academia and industry,” said Chairman HEC Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, who graced the MoU signing ceremony alongside PSEB CEO Faisal Jeddy and senior officials from both organisations.
