ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a countrywide alert for a heatwave expected to hit most parts of the country between April 22 and April 27.
The disaster management authority predicted dry and hot weather conditions during this period.
Balochistan and Sindh are expected to face significantly above-normal temperatures throughout the week.
Hot weather conditions are also likely to prevail across much of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir.
However, the NDMA has predicted scattered rainfall in parts of Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and select districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which could offer some relief from the heat.
