ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday, assured robust security measures for Chinese citizens and staff working on projects in Pakistan.
During a high-level meeting with a Chinese business delegation led by Consul General Zhao Shirin, Naqvi discussed improvements to safety protocols based on suggestions from Chinese businessmen.
The meeting, which included top law enforcement officials, aimed to refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and enhance security.
Naqvi also announced that online visas for Chinese citizens would be available starting August 14, streamlining their business travel to Pakistan.

Consul General Zhao Shirin expressed optimism about the outcomes, praising the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and China. The presence of senior Punjab officials, including the Inspector General of Police and the Interior Secretary, highlighted the commitment to ensuring a secure environment for Chinese investments.
This initiative underscores Pakistan’s dedication to safeguarding foreign investments and solidifying its relationship with China.
