Pakistan Beat India in IBSA World Games

BIRMINGHAM: Pakistan defeated India by 18 runs in IBSA World Games in Birmingham on Sunday.

Pakistan’s visually impaired side was invited to bat first by India after winning the toss at King Edward’s School ground in Birmingham.

Pakistan scored 187/8 in their innings as Muhammad Salman made 50 off 31 balls while skipper Nisar Ali scored 46 off 33 balls while Badar Munir added 37 runs.

For the Indian side, Ajay Kumar Reddy took 4 wickets while three Pakistani players fell to Nakula Badanayak.

Indian team made 169/7 in 20 overs. Sunil Ramesh made 62 runs while Durga Rao Tompaki scored 40 runs against Pakistan. Pakistan’s bowler Matiullah took two wickets in the match. The men in green will play its next match against Bangladesh on Tuesday.
