The Minister said that improvement in the bilateral ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh will prove useful for the region as well.
In his remarks, Khalid Hussain said steps will be taken to promote mutual cooperation between the Ministries of Religious Affairs of both countries.
The Bangladeshi delegation expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property due to floods in Pakistan.
The meeting comes as part of ongoing efforts by both countries to rebuild bilateral ties, following a landmark visit to Dhaka in August by Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. The visit aimed to reset regional relations in the context of evolving geopolitical dynamics.
