ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, on Saturday and discussed details and modalities for the upcoming Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit.
“Ishaq Dar thanked the Azeri Foreign Minister for the warm hospitality extended to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Pakistani delegation during their visit to Azerbaijan this week,” a Foreign Ministry statement said.
Both leaders discussed details and modalities for the upcoming Economic Cooperation Organization Summit to be held in Azerbaijan in July this year.

According to the Foreign Ministry statement, they discussed the modalities for early finalization of the framework agreement for the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan (UAP) Railway Line Project, including details of its signing ceremony in consultation with the leadership of Afghanistan.
