RAWALPINDI: Colonel General Karim Valiyev, the 1st Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chief of General Staff of Azerbaijan Army, on Tuesday paid a visit to General Headquarters (GHQ) where he met with General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), according to a press release by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The meeting focused on matters pertaining to defense and security cooperation between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing mutual cooperation in military and professional affairs.
