RAWALPINDI: One soldier of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom during a fire exchange between security forces and terrorists in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan district here on Tuesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release.

According to ISPR, during the exchange of fire, the security forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. However, during intense fire exchange, Sepoy Ahmed Ali (26 years of age and a resident of Charsadda district), having fought gallantly, embraced martyrdom, ISPR added.
