LONDON: Pakistan army secured second position in the International Pace Sticking-2023 competition in the United Kingdom, receiving great applause for the brilliant performance.
Havaldar Nauman received the best individual drill sergeant award for his exceptional military skills.
In total, military teams from 16 countries participated in the competition, where different drills were carried out.
While five drill sergeants from Pakistan participated in the final ceremony organized in the historic Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
Pakistan Army’s brilliant record
Pakistan participated in the event in 2018 for the first time where it secured the 1st position. It followed the suit in succeeding events in 2019 and 2020.
In 2021, the event was cancelled during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Pakistan secured the second position in the last competition also held in 2022.
