ISLAMABAD: In a significant move aimed at advancing girls’ education, the Pakistan Army has established girls’ schools to facilitate access to quality schooling for girls in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to state-run television PTV, the army has established girls’ schools in close proximity to local communities, ensuring greater accessibility and convenience for female students.

This initiative has resulted in the operationalization of numerous schools across the region, fostering a conducive learning environment for girls.

Furthermore, mobile infotainment and educational units are extending their reach to remote areas, ensuring that all girls have access to education.

To equip women with contemporary skills, computer labs have been established at Women’s Degree College Miran Shah and Women’s Vocational Training Center. This effort aims to empower women with technological proficiency, enabling them to actively contribute to the region’s progress.

Moreover, the Pakistan Army is providing support to girls from North Waziristan to pursue higher education in prestigious institutions across the country.
