ABBOTTABAD: Pakistan Army is a symbol of national solidarity and a disciplined military institution, which has representation from across the country. Youth from different backgrounds are serving in the Pakistan Army. Among the young officers passing out from the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), are sons of martyrs, veterans and many hailed from far flung areas of Pakistan.
Company Senior Under Officer (CSUO), Mohammad Adnan, son of a martyr, who got commission in Pakistan Army said; My father Shaheed Havaldar Muhammad Naveed had offered his life for the defense of the country at the Line of Control (LoC) in 2016. At the time of my father’s martyrdom, I was only 13 years old, but I decided that I would also join the Pakistan Army to defend my country”.
Cadet Muhammad Adnan said that he wanted to convey a message to the children of the martyrs that “You too should work hard and play your role in the betterment of the country and its defense.”
Hasnain Musa Khan, a cadet from the tribal area also shared his message and “My message to the tribal youth is to move forward, work hard and serve your nation by joining the Pakistan Army. Your role is very significant in the defense of the country”.
Battalion Quarter Master Sergeant Muhammad Aswad from Quetta said that his father was a government servant and received his primary education from Quetta. He has joined 150 PMA Long following completing his education at Military College Sui. Cadet Muhammad Aswad said, “My message to the youth of remote areas of Balochistan is to come forward and play your part in the defense of the country.”

Sabtain Abbas from Gilgit-Baltistan said that he is son of a retired Subedar. He added that he has completed his SSC and FSC from Military College Sui, Balochistan. Cadet Sabatin Abbas added that after two years of tireless dedication and tough training, he has successfully completed his training. He said, “I am extremely happy and proud today”.
Sabatin Abbas said, “My message to the young generation of Pakistan, especially the youth of remote areas, is that you should not give up hard work and courage, Allah Almighty will make his own way for you.”
