NUMS was responsible for all critical stages of the examination, including paper setting, evaluation, and declaration of results.

According to official statistics, 7,076 candidates registered for the exam, comprising 6,993 medical and 83 dental graduates. Of these, 7,012 candidates appeared, while 64 remained absent. A total of 1,473 candidates successfully passed the examination, including 1,467 medical and six dental graduates. The medical pass percentage stood at 21.17 percent, while the dental pass percentage was 7.23 percent.

PM&DC noted that two NRE examinations for FMGs are conducted each year in accordance with prevailing regulations. For comparison, the previous NRE held on June 25, 2025 saw 1,252 medical graduates qualify, with an overall medical pass percentage of 25.26 percent.

The results are now available on the PM&DC website, where candidates can check their pass or fail status using their designated numbers. Dates for the NRE Step II clinical examination will be announced shortly. Candidates who successfully qualify both steps will be eligible for provisional registration with PM&DC, enabling them to undertake house jobs in Pakistan or abroad.

Reaffirming its commitment to merit and international best practices, PM&DC emphasized that the examination process and results strictly adhere to its established standards. The council also advised parents and prospective students to carefully select reputable and recognized medical and dental institutions when seeking education abroad, underscoring that informed educational choices are vital for protecting both professional futures and the integrity of healthcare services worldwide.
