Pakistan and Oman Navies Conclude Joint Maritime Drills in Karachi

ISLAMABAD:  The navies of Pakistan and Oman have concluded THAMAR AL TAYYIB 2025 naval drill to promote maritime cooperation, a military statement said on Sunday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), two warships of the Royal Navy of the Sultanate of Oman, Al-Rasikh and Al-Shams, participated in the joint exercise.

Exercise TAT-2025 included professional exchanges and a joint sea phase designed to enhance maritime security and foster greater cooperation.


The drill underscores the strong defence partnership between the Pakistan Navy and the Royal Navy of Oman, aimed at advancing regional maritime stability.

Both navies have been conducting these exercises regularly since 1980.

The officers of the Royal Navy of the Sultanate of Oman warships met with Pakistan Navy officials and discussed professional matters and exchanged experiences in various maritime fields.
