ISLAMABAD: Kazakhstan Ambassador to Pakistan Yerzhan Kistafin on Thursday called on Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan to discuss bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.
The meeting also focused on strategies to increase the trade volume between the two countries.
During the discussions, both deliberated on the establishment of route maps and improving connectivity to facilitate smoother trade operations.
Minister Jam Kamal recognized the considerable potential for cooperation between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, noting the positive developments observed in bilateral ties over the past two years.
Underlining the contributions of companies like TCS and LNC in fostering economic relations, it was emphasized that collaborative efforts have played an important role in advancing trade activities.

Ambassador Kistafin expressed optimism about the forthcoming bilateral deal, which is likely to further unlock the trade potential between the two nations.
He also conveyed greetings from the Federal Minister for Commerce’s counterpart, stressing the vast opportunities in different sectors including agriculture, especially in crops like Kino and Mango, as well as in IT, fashion industry, mining, culture, logistics, construction, and energy sectors.
Moreover, the discussions also touched upon visa problems and the challenge of illegal human trafficking, highlighting the significance of addressing these issues to ensure the integrity of bilateral relations.
