ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Under the direction of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has intensified its relief efforts to support the war-affected populations of Gaza and Lebanon.

The NDMA dispatched two additional consignments (15th and 16th in the series) containing 100 tons each of winterized tents and blankets, destined for Amman, Jordan, and Beirut, Lebanon. These shipments join an ongoing series of aid dispatches designed to bring relief to the displaced and vulnerable.

A formal send-off ceremony was held at Islamabad International Airport, attended by Parliament members, Palestinian Ambassador Zuhair M. H. Darzaid, Lebanese Ambassador Ghassan Khatib, and representatives from Pakistan’s NDMA, Foreign Office, and Armed Forces. The Parliamentarians present emphasized Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to supporting its Palestinian and Lebanese brothers during these times of crisis.

Pakistan has sent a total of 1,598 tons of aid to the affected regions to date, including food, hygiene supplies, tents, clothing, and blankets. Expressing gratitude, the Palestinian Ambassador commended Pakistan’s generosity as a “beacon of hope” for peace and justice in Gaza.
