ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is all set to witness its third supermoon of the year on Thursday, providing a spectacular view after the sunset.
The supermoon will be visible from 4:26 pm onwards offering a stunning display for observers in the evening.
This phenomenon can also be witnessed in other parts of the world, including Australia, Japan, and New Zealand. The next supermoon will be seen on November 15.
According to astronomers the Moon while sailing in its orbit comes closest to Earth, which is 226,000 kilometres and shines 14pc more brightly and appears 7pc bigger.
Sometimes, there are two moons in a single month of the lunar calendar. When this phenomenon happens, the second moon is called a Blue Moon.
