ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Tuesday successfully achieved 90 percent of the COVID-19 vaccinated eligible population of 12 years and above.
According to the National Institute of Health (NIH) 90 percent of the eligible population in Pakistan has successfully been vaccinated against COVID-19, whereas 95 percent have been partially vaccinated.
According to the official data, as many as 25 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country and a total of 3478 tests were conducted nationwide to detect the virus. Unfortunately, the numbers show that 46 patients affected by the virus are in critical condition in different hospitals in Pakistan. Lahore has reported 13 of the highest cases of coronavirus cases with a 2.9 percent of positivity ratio and a total of 622 tests conducted. Faisalabad has reported 2, whereas Islamabad has reported only 1 positive case with a 0.38 percent of ratio
