KARACHI: Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first as they lock horns with New Zealand in the third and final one-day international (ODI) at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi today.
ODI series in sight
Having claimed a game each, both teams will be on the lookout to clinch the series in today’s decider match.
Earlier, the hosts grabbed the lead with an impressive six-wicket win in the first ODI, only for the Kiwis to level the series with a remarkable comeback in the second match by registering a 79-run victory that saw the Green Shirts suffer a batting failure chasing 262.
The Black Caps are on a Test and one-day international tour of Pakistan a year after abandoning their tour over a security threat. Earlier, the two-match test series between the two teams ended in a draw with neither of them being able to secure a victory.
