KARACHI: Pakistan stood at 62-2 at tea on day two of the second Test of the two-match series against New Zealand at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi.

Skipper Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq were at the crease for Pakistan after Abdullah Shafique and Shan Masood both scored quickly, but were not able to hold on to their wickets.

Hosts bowl out Kiwis at 449 in first innings

The visitors, who resumed their first innings today with an overnight score of 309-6, were able to take it to 449 before being bowled out, thanks to the solid 104-run partnership by Matt Henry and Ajaz Patel.

The first match had ended in a draw, and not on a positive note for Pakistan, who were unable to achieve a test victory at home in 2022.

New Zealand is playing its first Test series in Pakistan in 20 years.
