ISLAMABAD: Pakistan rupee witnessed a 73-paisa depreciation against the dollar in the interbank trading on Wednesday and closed at Rs 283.19 compared to Rs 283.92 the previous day.
According to FAP (Forex Association of Pakistan), the buying and selling rates of the American dollars in the open market were recorded at Rs 283.2 and Rs 286 respectively.
Pak Rupee Against Euro, Pound, Riyal, and Others
The price of the Euro also witnessed an increase by 32 paise and closed at Rs305.19 compared to Rs 304.87 on the last trading day, according to SBP (State Bank of Pakistan).
Meanwhile, the Japanese Yen experienced a depreciation by 01 paise to close at Rs2.13, whereas the British Pound witnessed a decline of 09 paise and was traded at Rs 347.65 against Rs 347.74 on the last trading day.
The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham witnessed a decrease by 19 paise to close at Rs 77.11 and the Saudi Riyal declined by 18 paise to close at Rs 75.38.
