ISLAMABAD: Pakistani rupee gained 1 paisa against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Wednesday and closed at 283.89 rupees against the previous day’s closing of 283.90 rupees.
According to FAP (Forex Association of Pakistan), the buying and selling rates of the US dollar in the open market were witnessed at Rs 287.5 and Rs 290, respectively.
Rupee Against Euro, Yen, Riyal, and Pound
The price of the Euro increased by 28 paisa to close at Rs 311.43 against the last day’s closing of Rs 311.15, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese Yen declined by 1 paisa and stood at Rs 2.10, while the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs 1.45 and was traded at Rs 353.94 compared to its last day’s closing of Rs 352.49.
The Saudi Riyal and Emirates Dirham exchange rates decreased by 02 and 01 paisa, closing at Rs 75.67 and Rs77.30 respectively.
