BEIJING: Pak-China border crossing at Khunjrab Pass will temporarily open for trade from 30 January to 10 February to facilitate crossing of key supply trucks from Pakistan to China.
In the first phase, the Pass will be opened on Tuesday and Wednesday to help local trade and important hydropower projects.
Heavy machinery through Khunjrab border
During the 2 days, heavy machinery needed for development work on Diamar Bhasha Dam would be passed through Khunjrab border to Sost.
It would be included forty truckloads carrying eleven hydropower plant equipment and twenty-nine livelihood supplies, official sources said.
In the second phase, important supplies stuck in China would be allowed to cross into Pakistan from 30 January to 10 February. –APP
