LONDON: Newly elected President of Oxford University’s Union has vowed to serve Pakistan and especially Balochistan after completing his education. He expressed these remarks during a luncheon organized by the ‘’Al Mustafa Welfare Trust’’ in London. He said that the youth of Pakistan have huge potentials and can compete at any international forum. He said that he studied in at a government school and latter on pursued education in the US and Oxford through scholarship. He said that after completion of his education, he definitely wants to serve Pakistan.
Replying to a question, Kakar said that the government should give more and more facilities to people of Balochistan especially in health, and education sector.
The event, held in recognition of Kakar’s achievements and dedication, gathered prominent figures including Abdul Razzaq Sajid, Chairman of ‘’Al Mustafa’’, who highlighted the organization’s commitment to humanitarian causes worldwide.
He said, ‘Whether it’s Gaza or anywhere else in the world where there is human suffering, we provide our services’. Chairman ‘’Al Mustafa’’, Abdul Razzaq Sajid said that they congratulate Israr Khan Kakar on reaching Oxford University through his hard work and becoming the Union’s president.
Israr Khan Kakar, while appreciating the humanitarian services of the ‘’Al Mustafa Welfare Trust’’, said, ‘Where governments cannot reach, organizations like the Mustafa Welfare Trust step in and perform humanitarian services.’
Managing Director of ‘’Al Mustafa Welfare’’, Sadaf Javaid, and Nasar Ahmed also spoke at the ceremony, welcoming Israr Khan Kakar, saying, ‘You are not only an honor for us but also for Pakistan.’ They also briefed Israr Khan Kakar on ‘Al Mustafa’s’’ projects.
