MINA: Scouts from the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association are actively volunteering in Makkah and the holy sites, assisting lost pilgrims in Mina as part of this year’s integrated Hajj volunteer system.
In coordination with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, scouts operate from 12 field centres across Mina, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
They help identify lost pilgrims by scanning the barcodes on their Nusuk cards to determine their nationality and service office number, then guide them to their accommodations using the shortest route, all under the supervision of field scout leaders.
Additionally, scout teams are stationed at over 180 mobile guidance points across Mina, providing rapid support to pilgrims. These efforts enhance the quality of services for pilgrims, facilitating the smooth performance of their Hajj rituals.
