MADINAH: The number of pilgrims from various nationalities who have arrived in Madinah after completing the Hajj rituals has reached 142,588. These pilgrims have arrived through air and land ports, as well as the Haramain High-Speed Railway.
According to statistics from the Hajj and Visit Committee, a total of 17,258 pilgrims have arrived in Madinah, with 15,159 of them arriving at the Hijra Station through 395 flights. The remaining pilgrims have arrived via land transportation, with 302 pilgrims arriving on seven trips to the Pilgrim Center on the same day. Additionally, the Haramain High-Speed Railway station received 1,797 pilgrims on 395 trips.
Hajj Pilgrims Stay in Madinah
In terms of departures, the statistics indicate that 36,963 pilgrims have left Madinah to return to their respective countries. As of Wednesday, the number of remaining pilgrims in Madinah from various nationalities stands at 105,617.
The occupancy rate of housing in Madinah has reached 35%, indicating a significant number of pilgrims availing accommodations in the city. Moreover, 56,894 pilgrims have benefited from medical services during their stay.
