Islamabad: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has said that over 100 incidents of bird collisions with aircraft were reported at most airports in Pakistan between June and November 2022.

The incidents of bird collisions with aircraft are extremely dangerous for the aircraft and passengers.
The CAA did not disclose the full figures but claimed that there has been a reduction in bird strikes between June and November after the authorities took measures.
A spokesperson for the CAA said that during the period under review, 35 incidents of bird strikes with aircraft were reported at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, which is the highest so far, while three incidents were reported at Sukkur and Islamabad airporst which is the lowest.
