Over 1.9 Million Muslims Pray at Al-Rawdah During Hajj 2025

MADINAH: Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah—one of the most sacred and revered areas within the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, has welcomed 1.9 million worshippers during this year’s Hajj season.

According to the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, 1,958,076 worshippers prayed at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah from Dhu Al-Qidah 1 to Dhu Al-Hijjah 29, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.

Additionally, 3,447,799 individuals visited the graves of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his two companions, Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq and Umar ibn Al-Khattab, during the same period.

These figures highlight the integrated services provided by the authority, aimed at ensuring a tranquil and organised experience for all worshippers and visitors.

This dedication underscores the Prophet’s Mosque as a central spiritual destination for Muslims around the world during the Hajj and Umrah seasons, highlighting the outstanding care and attention provided by the Saudi leadership to the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
