On World Press Freedom Day, the Prime Minister said on Twitter that he pays glowing support to journalists worldwide, including those in Pakistan, for their admirable work to inform and educate the people. He stated that the journalists’ atmosphere was frequently full of problems and risks, but they never wavered in their commitment. He said journalism’s watchdog function has aided the evolution of democratic and transparent governance concepts.
