ISLAMABAD: PIT’s Secretary General Omer Ayub was appointed the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, a notification said on Tuesday. As per the notification, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq of the National Assembly declared Umar Ayub as the leader of the opposition.
Earlier, Omer Ayub met Speaker Ayaz Sadiq who confirmed his appointment as leader of the opposition in the National Assembly. Later, Omer Ayub thanked the PTI founder and other party leaders for reposing confidence and supporting him to lead the party in the NA.
