SRINAGAR: National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah has strongly condemned Modi regime’s decision to invite foreign delegates in the name of observing the current sham assembly polls in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to media reports, Omar Abdullah also questioned the Modi regime’s motives, pointing out the contradiction in their position. “When foreign governments comment, New Delhi says it’s an internal matter, but now they want foreign observers to visit and monitor our polls,” he said.
Abdullah rejected the stunt of Modi’s regime and strongly denounced New Delhi for inviting the foreign delegates to the Occupied Kashmir. He also alleged the Modi government of humiliating and harassing the local people, using its machinery to arrest and suppress them. Despite this, people of Kashmir are participating in the polls, which Abdullah sees as a testament to their resilience.
