ISLAMABAD: National Conference (NC) Vice President, Omar Abdullah has said that the current state of affairs in the Indian Illegally-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir(IIOJK) is contrary to the claims made by the Indian government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
As reported by Kashmir Media Service, Omar Abdullah pointed out that while Srinagar may appear relatively peaceful, the true situation can only be ascertained by looking beyond to places like Kokernag and Uri.
He specifically referenced the recent tragic incident in which six Indian forces’ personnel lost their lives in the Gadole area of Kokernag last week.
Indian forces are also conducting extensive cordon and search operations in various parts of the occupied territory.
According to Omar Abdullah, this reality starkly contrasts with the narratives presented by the Modi government, which he characterized as “lies.” —APP
