RIYADH: Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq bin Taimur Al Said along with his delegation arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to attend Friday’s summit between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

GCC Secretary General Jasem Mohamed Al-Budaiwi and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region welcomed Al Said at King Khalid International Airport.

Mayor of Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, acting Chargé d’Affaires at Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in Oman Youssef bin Mohammed, and Oman’s envoy to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Faisal bin Turki Al Said also attended the reception, the SPA maintained.
