JEDDAH: The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha, has welcomed the outcomes of the Saudi-China, Arab-China, and Gulf-China summits in Riyadh hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
At the invitation of Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha on Friday attended the Arab-China summit.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation Secretary-General applauded the outcomes of the Arab-China summit, which will give new energy to partnership and cooperation between the Arab countries and China in service of common interests and Arab-Chinese friendship.
OIC commends Saudi Arabia’s role
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation Secretary-General also welcomed the outcomes of the Saudi-Chinese summit and the Gulf-China summit in Riyadh.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation Secretary-General commended the pioneering role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chair of the 14th Islamic Summit, in holding and hosting the three summits and its support for cooperation between the concerned countries and the People’s Republic of China.

OIC Secretary-General congratulates Morocco
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation Secretary-General, Hissein Brahim Taha, has congratulated the Kingdom of Morocco’s football team on its historic qualification for the FIFA World Cup semi-finals after its victory over Portugal’s team in the World Cup quarter-finals match.

The Secretary-General appreciated the super performance of the Moroccan team in the match and wished it more victories in the remaining matches of the tournament.
