JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ continued crime of collective genocide perpetrated by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip, particularly the recent shelling on the UNRWA school where displaced persons from Nusayrat camp sought shelter. The attack had left several Palestinians dead and injured.

The OIC denounced these acts as clear violations of international humanitarian law, including the Geneva Conventions, and called for an independent international investigation into these and other war crimes committed by Israel in Gaza.

The organization demanded accountability for those responsible and urged the international community to intervene decisively to halt Israeli aggression against civilians, hospitals, schools, homes, and places of worship.

Furthermore, the OIC reiterated the urgent need for sustained humanitarian and medical aid to all parts of Gaza and called upon international institutions including the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Criminal Court (ICC) to take necessary measures urgently to ensure justice for the Palestinian people.
