ISLAMABAD: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed its unequivocal rejection and condemnation on Saturday of Israel’s actions in forcibly displacing Palestinians and attempting to transfer the humanitarian crisis, worsened by the Israeli occupation, to neighboring countries.
In a press release from the OIC Secretariat in Jeddah, the organization also strongly denounced the blockade of medical supplies, relief assistance, and essential provisions to the Gaza Strip, labeling it as a collective punishment that flagrantly violates international humanitarian law.
The OIC reiterated its call to the international community to take immediate and effective measures to halt all forms of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, actions that posed a severe threat of an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
