JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the armed terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall near Moscow on Friday. The attack resulted in the tragic loss of lives and injuries to several persons.
Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the OIC, vehemently denounced the heinous act, extending heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of the Russian Federation. He expressed deep sympathy and wished for the swift recovery of those injured in the attack.
In reaffirming the OIC’s unwavering stance against terrorism, Secretary-General Taha emphasized the imperative of collective efforts to combat such atrocities. He stressed the importance of unity and solidarity in confronting terrorism in all its forms, underscoring the Organization’s commitment to promoting peace and security globally.
Furthermore, Secretary-General Taha expressed solidarity with the Russian Federation and its citizens during this challenging time, offering reassurance of the OIC’s support in overcoming the aftermath of the reprehensible attack.
