JEDDAH: Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha on Monday held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu at the OIC General Secretariat in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, Murat Nurtleu reiterated Kazakhstan’s unwavering support for the cause of Palestine and briefed the Secretary-General about his nation’s efforts in supporting the humanitarian needs of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip through UNRWA.
Secretary-General Commends Kazakhstan
Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha expressed appreciation for Kazakhstan’s active engagement towards Joint Islamic Action, and in particular its generous assistance towards easing the severe plight of the Palestinian people.
