JEDDAH: The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha, has received Chairman of the National Commission for Religious Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Zhan Ruifang, at the organization’s headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
According to the SPA during the meeting, both sides discussed the prospects for boosting ties between the OIC and the People’s Republic of China, as well as the conditions of the Muslim community in China.
The meeting also discussed the recent developments in Palestine. The talks took place within the framework of the ongoing dialogue between the two sides.
