OIC Marks Five Years of IIOJK’s Special Status Revocation with Exhibition

JEDDAH: The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) hosted a photo exhibition at its headquarters in Jeddah on Thursday.

The exhibition, organized by the Permanent Mission of Pakistan to the OIC, commemorated the fifth anniversary of India’s revocation of Indian illegal occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s (IIOJK) special status.

During the event, Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the OIC, reaffirmed the Organization’s support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination, in line with relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

Furthermore, Youssef bin Mohammed Aldobeay, Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Jammu and Kashmir and Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs, highlighted the OIC’s ongoing efforts and initiatives to uphold the legitimate rights of the Kashmiri people.
