ISTANBUL: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member countries will discuss ways to enhance cooperation in communications, transport, tourism, agricultural productivity, and digital transformation during the 38th ministerial meeting in Istanbul. The ministerial meeting of OIC is being held in Istanbul from Saturday to Tuesday.

According to the official news agency of Turkey, the ministerial meeting will also exchange views on economic developments in the globe, with special reference to OIC member states.
The meeting will also discuss the socio-economic empowerment of the Muslim world. The ministerial meeting will also discuss ways to enhance the role of the private sector and cooperation among members of OIC countries. According to media reports, Türkiye’s Vice President Fuat Oktay and Ministers of OIC countries are likely to attend the meeting.
