JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has denounced the Israeli occupation’s decision to seize 8,000 dunums of land in the northern Al-Aghwar area of the West Bank, intending to expand colonial settlements.
The OIC views this action as a clear indication of the Israeli occupation’s persistence in committing further crimes and taking illegal measures, directly violating international law and resolutions of international legitimacy.
The OIC has reiterated its urgent call to the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to fulfill its responsibilities in putting an immediate end to all crimes and aggressions carried out by the Israeli occupation across the occupied Palestinian territories, with particular emphasis on the situation in the Gaza Strip.
