JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is set to hold an extraordinary meeting at its headquarters in Jeddah on Wednesday to discuss Israeli aggression and attacks on the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The meeting, convened at the invitation of the State of Palestine and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, aims to discuss the ongoing Israeli attacks on the revered Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The open-ended Executive Committee meeting, to be attended by Permanent Representatives of OIC member states, will focus on the escalating situation at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city of Al-Quds Al-Sharif. The OIC meeting will serve as a platform to address the continuous Israeli aggression against the occupied Palestinian territory.
Hissein Brahim Taha, the Secretary-General of the OIC, is expected to deliver a comprehensive address highlighting the dangerous developments affecting the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied Palestinian territory.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for participating representatives to discuss strategies and actions to address the escalating Israeli attacks.
