JEDDAH: The OIC has strongly condemned Israel’s continued military aggression and called on the international community to provide international protection for the people of Palestinians. The General Secretariat of the OIC condemned the continuation of Israel’s military aggression against the Gaza Strip, which has treacherously killed 25 people and injured 76 Palestinian citizens, as well as the destruction of several residential buildings over the last two days, describing this barbaric military aggression as a heinous crime and flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.
OIC Condemns Israel’s Aggression
The OIC held Israel, the occupying power, completely accountable for the consequences of its continued and escalating aggression, as well as the war crimes it is committing against the Palestinians, which pose a danger to regional security, peace, and stability. It urged the International Criminal Court to speed up its procedures for prosecuting war criminals. It also confirmed its plea for the international community to share its duties and intervene swiftly to halt Israel’s ongoing aggression, provide international protection for the Palestinian people, and force Israel to comply with its international law.
