OIC Condemns Armed Attack on Saudi Cultural Mission in Sudan

JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the recent armed attack on the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission premises in Khartoum, Sudan.

The attack, which occurred on Sunday, resulted in significant damage to the property of the Cultural Mission building, including theft and vandalism.

The OIC General Secretariat issued a statement on Wednesday, expressing its concern and condemnation of the attack. The statement stressed the importance of ending violence and upholding the inviolability of diplomatic premises, as well as providing the necessary protection for diplomats.

OIC reaffirmed its support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its diplomatic missions, and urged all parties to respect the principles of international law.
